The hospitality is warm and friendly at Hotel Panorama and the view from our room was beautiful. The location is on a hill overlooking the city with a nice view of the old city and the sea. Our room was very large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and the dinner was fantastic, one of the best meals we had on our journey through Greece. Dinner was a special request as it is not usually served, ask for it. The proxiemty to the beach, shops, restaurants and waterfront is great, everything is a short walk away.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the water side.

This hotel has a wonderful view of the seafront. The accommodation is roomy and the balcony very spacious. The breakfast was adquate but nothing special. The owner was friendly and helpful. All in all a comfortable stay and good value for the price. There is very good parking.

This is a good hotel with comfortable rooms, nice staff, and a great breakfast. The main issue is its location. It is not in Monemvasia it is in Gefyra, and up a very steep hill at that. Gefyra has some charm itself and excellent meals can be obtained here at very reasonable prices.

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. As we arrived by car it was easy to get around in to the town and the castle. I definetly suggest making the trip during the off season where you feel that the hotel, owner and staff are at your disposal.

Highly recommend this hotel no matter how long or short of a stay.

We stayed at the Panorama for 2 nights with our family of 5. I must admit that the hotel is clean and the breakfast was good. However the distance to the main square, the main attraction of the rock and swimming is much too far. Tiu definitely need a car to commute. The road to access is very uneven and very large uphill. Past reviews of walking in our opinion are inaccurate.

We also found that there were very similar quality accommodations for less money within walking distance and would make your experience better. For this reason I feel that we overpaid for our stay. The washrooms are very dated and We also had an issue with a water leak. The cleaning staff was very receptive but were never approached by management. Unless we brought it up at check out, it would never have been addressed. When it was brought up, it was just shrugged off and that it will be fixed. In our opinion not good enough. More interested to just use my credit card and check me out. I don't understand this because of this experience couldn't recommend this hotel to upcoming visits from friends and family.

The reality is that it's a good clean hotel with good plentiful breakfast but don't believe we received the value of what we paid based on distance, age of rooms. We paid 100 euros per evening including breakfast and we felt its on,y worth 80.
