This hotel is the epitome of Spartan or minimalism. It is modern, clean, and the service rendered by the young man at the front desk was great. It also has a nice swimming pool. We were the only guests and had the pool to ourselves, which was in need of being cleaning (mainly floating debris). However, the desk clerk was Johnny on the spot and cleaned up the pool. The rooms are extremely small and the mattresses on the bed must have been purchased from a prison supply company. Everything in the room was as cheap as possible. For people who were looking for a place to spend a cheap vacation, it would be okay, but it is lacking in most amenties now available from most hotels. It is also about a five minutes drive to Monemvasia.
P.S. Great view of Monemvasia from the balcony.

The self catering apartments are a few minutes drive from Monemvasia. Plenty of parking, good clean pool and directly on the sea front. The rooms are airy and clean. Very welcoming.....
Well recommended.

Room Tip: Best rooms are the rooms with double balcony, one facing the sea, the other facing Monemvasia. Ask f...

This hotel is very nice for the price. It has only a handful of rooms, but each of them have a nice balcony with a view of the sea and Monemvasia. The bathrooms are very clean and fairly large for Greek standards. It is about 3 kilometers south of the Monemvasia island, but with absolutely no traffic. It is nice and quiet at night. Right on the water (no nice beaches near though). There is a ladder to jump into the clean water though. The pool is nice and clean, but salt water (very salty too). The owners are a family and are very nice. They always made us feel comfortable and attended to our every need. I would definitely stay there again, especially for the price.

A small idyllic location, right next to the beach, with a small swimming pool. Ask for a room with a sea view. It is very clean (daily house keeping), has a small kitchen with everything in it and a great terrace with sea view. The only two inconveniences are: you need a car, because it is about 2 km from the city center and 3 km from the nearest beach. It would also help if the owners would speak a little more English...

A clean and well maintained, family-run hotel, close to Monemvasia. Rooms are not very large. However, they are comfortable and have nice view to the sea and to Monemvasia. All members of the staff are very friendly and can advise you on what to do in the area. Minor issues are the lack of a shower curtain, the lack of any chair or other furniture to lay your things in the room and the air-conditioning being directed right to the bed (at least in room no.8). We would also like to try the breakfast for which we had read so many good words but when we visited the hotel (July 2013) it was not provided due to some internal/management reasons.
The hotel is built just in front of the sea but the beach there is not nice to swim. Hopefully, the big pool will fulfill your swimming needs. Keep in mind that the hotel is approximately 4km away from the town of Monemvasia and there are no shops or restaurants close by, therefore, it is certainly inconvenient for people with no transportation means. Still, it is very good for those preferring to stay away from the traffic and noise of Monemvasia.
