My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful two night stay at this wonderful hotel near the far edge of the castle wall. Peaceful and tastefully decorated, we enjoyed rooms that were adjoined by an interior hallway which made it convenient for us to hang out with each other.
Breakfast was superb served in a wonderful garden setting. Alex made the stay fantastic by carrying luggage, speaking very good English and even arranging for a load of laundry to be washed during our stay!
Will definitely return!

Our amazing suite had a sea view and was beautifully decorated and furnished. The historic buildings of the hotel and throughout the whole town have been tastefully and sympathetically restored and the best I've seen. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. The layout of the hotel was over a series of buildings using medieval passages and stairs which made it exceptional and delightful and was the reason we chose the hotel - so glad we did! Breakfast was delicious and generous and was on a terrace overlooking the sea. There is a large square overlooking the sea in front of the hotel and there is a nearby sea gate in the town walls so you can go swimming off the rocks.

The location is the best in Monemvasia, the buildings of the hotel follow the original architecture and decoration of the old castle town, and the view to the sea is breathtaking. The owners are very polite and friendly, breakfast quality is very good and is served in a terrace with a view to the castle and the sea. Excellent choice for couples and families, the best hotel we have stayed in Monemvasia.

Room tip: Choose on of the suites, their building has the best location in Monemvasia.

A pleasant, unexpected shelter of luxury in the heart of Monemvasia castle. Warm environment with traditional rooms, furniture and decoration. Excellent service, willing staff (Katerina really keeps things running smoothly!!). Rich breakfast. Fantastic views, walks and photos... Surely worths revisiting!
