Of course it's not the end of the world, but the outermost north-west point of Latvia named Kolka. It's not only restaurant but also B&B hotel. We stayed there for 3 weekends in July 2013. The cuisine is in Latvian country style. Dishes are VERY large and VERY tasty. Especially I would recommend fish dishes. All products are ecological. In reality it's the only place in Kolka and for many miles around to eat. The kitchen is working till 22.00, but later you can order drinks and light snacks at the bar. The personal is very responsive and polite. Speak Russian, English and Latvian.
About rooms. They are very clean, beds are comfortable. TV has only 3 channels (at least in our room) - CNN and 2 local. Of course there is WI-FI (for Latvia it's a must :)). We have a bit problem with hot water during definite hours - probably because many people use a lot of water at the same time and the boiler hasn't time to boil it.
Also I would recommend to taste local smoked fish - there are several smoking-sheds on the coast. You cannot taste such fresh fish in Riga's markets or anywhere else. Also every year in July you can enjoy yourself with horse riding along the beach and across magnificent forests (you have to contact camping place "Ūši" + 371 29475692 or www.zirgi.lv).
