We wanted to sit outside, 9 people but the staff was very unfriendly and didn't let us put the tables together. We were so puzzled about it that we decided to go out right away. Instead we went to Bonsai, just 700m away, where staff was friendly and the food really amazing. Don't try to come to Zamecek!

It is not easy to find accommodation in Mikulov on the Day of St Martin when all wine lovers celebrate new wine and those who are in Mikulov visit wine cellars and taste results of the hard work of local winemakers. I was really lucky to get a double room for me and my friend at the Zamecek hotel. Its name means Little Chateau and it functions as a sort of mirror offering you the best view to observe the real Mikulov chateau which is within walking distance. Both the evening meal we had and morning breakfast buffet were reach and we liked it. We were feeling safe and welcome in this place – thanks.

The hotel is very good located very close Lednice - Valtice historical area. It´s about 1,5 km to old town city center Mikulov. Breakfast was good, we were satisfied. Our room was small, with TV and free wi-fi, but sufficient for sleeping.
The price of accommodation corresponds to the expectations.

Very good choice for one night stay.
Room is clean.
Breakfast excellent.
Unfortunatelly, noisy. You can hear everyone in the corridor.
Very good parking, close to main road.
Receprionist speaks poor English.
The rest of the staff speaks no English.
Visitors are mainly Polaks and Russians.

Hotel very surprised me with services and kitchen, too. Inside of the hotel you feel like you're staying in the gamekeeper's house and terrace with barbecue in the front of the hotel is ready for the summer season. Although the hotel is located near the road on the outside of the town, there is a nice surroundings, I mean grassy area with seating in the front of the hotel. Among other things, the part of the hotel is a wine cellar or a tiny "zoo" with goats. Do you want to visit to centre of the town? It's a few minutes by walk. If you decide to stay in the hotel, then you will have a perfect view to the dominant of the town, the town's castle.
