he absolute only bad thing regarding this HOTEL is the beds! The staff are absolutely fantastic. You have your choice inside the hotel of traditional CZECH food or you can go to first floor and have Chinese or you can choose to go underground and have steaks as well as pizza and do some bowling. The Hotel has renovated as well as are now building a relax spa that looks like it shall be absolutely fantastic! This Hotel is located in the heart of Tabor. It was an absolutely fantastic stay. It has been over a week there and I must say every day was a great experience inside the hotel! While previously the decor was very old world. The entire hotel has been renovated. I was impressed by the quality of the people and the service. The only down side was as i side the BED. They are really a great bunch of people there. Try them!

Room Tip: Swimming and fitness now being constructed will open in July 2013 What a wonderful HOTEL!

Average regional hotel with small rooms (for two persons). Little space even to organize your stuff.
Not bad, but Slavia much better. But the hotel is convenient to live in a time of Tabor Beer Festival, wich held at the hotel`s congress-hall. And in the hotel are located very good restaurant.

A quick look on the hotel's website will make it seem like a relatively nice place at an affordable price. Don't believe it ! Although located in one of the tallest and most modern-looking buildings of the town, it is anything but modern. The only pro is the location - it is right in the middle of the old town and the train station, but this doesn't mean much as Tabor is small, anyway. It's located on the only main street, too, so don't expect the nights to be quiet as there are a few pubs and discos around the hotel.

The room we got had four beds in it, even though we were just two people. The room itself has old, communist decor with used, uncomfortable furniture and beds. The carpeting on the floors is grimy and covered in splotches, the windows are black from never having been cleaned, and dead flies litter the window-sill. Bedding is terrible - and don't expect your bedsheets to be without a long, curly black hair, or five! The breakfasts at 100 CZK / 4 euro per person are atrocious - there is no buffet, and you're given a tiny meal where boiled hot-dogs are considered 'sausages' and coffee is so distilled it's see-through.

And don't come here expected working internet, proper TV channels, or even a working telephone connection! There is a telephone in the room - which doesn't work. When someone tried calling us through the reception, they said that we weren't in, even though we had been inside the whole day ; the phones DON'T work and they know it perfectly well! If you even manage to connected to the internet, don't expect to check your emails in less than 10 minutes and without any frustration.

DEFINITELY not a 3-star hotel, nor with anything worthy of the price. Do yourself a favor, stay at a hotel in the old part of the city where it doesn't smell of cigarettes in every part of the hotel.
