It is very beautiful manor and the owner is very friendly foreign Estonian man. We arrived very late but got a quick view of the manor. They do not accept any credit cards, so unless paid in advance remember to have enough cash as the nearest ATM is in Orissaare some 8km away from the manor.
We stayed downstairs - the walls are thick but the doors are not. We heard another couple fighting in the evening and the from 6am the washing machine - not something you look for Sunday morning when you expect a good and long sleep. When the machine stopped at around 7 they started to make breakfast in the kitchen right across our room - we heard everything, even the chopping on the cutting board, not to mention the noise from the plates and cups and talking.
Besides that the room was lovely and spacious, very clean and warm. The bathroom was shared with an other room, it was clean and spacious. Breakfast had not a big variety, but OK.
WIFI is only in common area - TV room.

Room tip: Do not take the room next to the kitchen (first rooms next to reception door!)

This place is very nice. The room interior changes from oriental to safari as you can see from their webpage. The owner is very nice which made the atmosphere cozy even though this is a manor. There were people with bikes so no need to be nervous about dress code :) Please visit the local church. Remember to ask about the wall of fame in the hallway!

Room tip: Honeymoon suite has two niches if you want privacy ;)

This small luxury guesthouse is one of the most interesting an stylish places I've ever stayed in. Set in the heart of the historic island of Saaremaa, just off the coast of Estonia in the Baltic Sea, this gem of a house sits in a beautiful park in the rolling countryside. Each room has its own unique character and the common rooms are magnificent - especially the ballroom. As I understand it, the house will celebrate its 700 year anniversary this year, being the oldest baronial estate on the islands. The owners/manager are friendly and helpful, the food is exquisite, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. I would recommend this as a must-see place for anyone planning to travel to this undiscovered and beautiful corner of Northern Europe.
