We didn't find many choices in Narva, but we were surprised this worked out for us so well. Free parking, excellent front desk service, clean but dated room that was very inexpensive and included breakfast. Even though I'm sure we would not go to Narva again, I would choose to stay here if necessary.

the hotel is well located and it has the windows light protection system (not common in this area). Unfortunately the bad are not so comfortable and it is a little bit noisy during the night. The breakfast is not so "international".

I spent a nice night here on December 16. Comfortable room, with a small single bed. Friendly staff whose native language is primarily Russian, but they communicate adequately in English. Pleasant restaurant downstairs, with a reasonably broad menu of foods and beverages. Not too far from Hermann's Castle and the border bridge to Russia (I walked across to Ivangorod when I departed for Russia). Smoking is permitted only in a small booth in the restaurant or outside the hotel. I would gladly return.

Room Tip: Second floor accessible via staircase.

We thought the room was good for the price. True it was small, with a tiny bathroom, but it was clean, there were nice towels, and although the bed was a bit lumpy it was comfortable enough. There is parking at the hotel and it is well located. Plus the food in the restaurant is good and breakfast passable! It was only E.50, so really I'm not going to complain.

Narva itself seems to have little to offer in the way of hotels and restaurants, and the town seems to be dominated by the border controls. The old town hall is just a minute's walk from the hotel, and undergoing restoration so it might eventually be worth a visit!

Room Tip: If you have luggage it might be worth asking for a ground floor room as the stairs are a bit odd and...

The hotel itself is nothing special it is rather a 2 star hostel. The beds are very uncomfortable the rooms are small and the bathroom is really tiny. There is no amenities at all, not even a shower curtain. The walls are really thin and you can hear exactly what is happening in the room next to you (we couldn't sleep all night because of a couple fighting next door).
On the other hand, the restaurant and the service (hotel also) is really nice and friendly, I can mention Irina and Maxim who made our stay pleasant. The terrace front of the hotel is really nice in the summer for having a few drinks or a meal.

Also known as "King Boutique Hotel" situated in central, easy-to-find location. Recently renovated hotel with a touch of style and excellent friendly personnel. Totally suitable for 1-2 night stay on a trip from Tallinn to St. Petersburg or vice versa. Room was clean, 1.5x sized bed in single room was not too comfy, shower room noticeably outworn but acceptable, adjustable electric heating and TV all was in workable condition. Parking and wireless internet are free for guests. The restaurant with cosy interior was promising but I did not try it, except for breakfast, which was simple but OK.

Good prices achievable in low-season (30 EUR/ single/ per night), in February the hotel was almost abandoned and quiet.

Warning for the light-sleepers - design and soundproofing of the room is such that you will hear every door slam and every step in the corridor. Not much entertainment around the hotel, except for striptease in 30m ;-), however, Narva is a very small town so almost all attractions are in easy-walking distance.

Quite good hotel in the centre of Narva. Quiet and cosy with comfortable beds, bathroom and TV. They have a restaurant, serving tasty Estonian and Russian dishes. This hotel is an excellent choice if you stay in Narva for 1-2 nights to see the famous Narva's Keep. Price for double room in August 2011 was 57 Euro (breakfast included).
