Edgar took us (and four others) around on Christmas Day. Very interesting talk about life and politics in Riga, with a detailed examination of the amazing architecture. Tip your guide at the end!

This is the 'culture' tour so you are taken away from the old city to the streets with Art Noveau buildings. Our guide was very knowledgeable, funny and walked backwards a lot of the time so he could talk to us as we moved along. It's made clear at the outset that although free, a tip would be welcome, 50% kept by the guide and 50% management. At the end of the tour the guide passes round a pouch so you can place what you want to give discreetly.

Our guide Ray, was amazing. You could she loves what she does and her knowledge about the city is superb. Got really deep in some details and my friends we totally loved it.

It is a great alternative to the "normal" free walking tour as it shows different spots of the city.

Many thanks Ray!!

Very informative and interesting. I don't know who said Latvians have no sense of humour but Linda proved them wrong as she educated and entertained us for about 2.5 hours. I would highly recommend this.
