Raimonda was knowledgeable, fun and engaging.
I had already toured the city with other guides and still learnt new facts.
The tour is in english and last between 2h30 and 3h.
Great experience for anyone interested in architecture and the city’s history.

Great free tour! Our Sunday guide was Annette. She was easy to spot from beginning to end, offered breaks for bathroom and a quick coffee, was knowledgeable and her English was excellent. Annette told us plenty of city history, current events and general Baltic background. After the tour she directed us to Lido for traditional Latvian food where we were able to see all the options and read English labels before selecting.

Come prepared to be outside and ready to tip as you are sure to walk away with a greater knowledge and appreciation for Riga!

This is the third free tour we did while spending a week here in Riga and it was my favorite tour so far. Eva was our tour guide and she was so happy with a great sense of humor and abundant knowledge of all our sights. The 2.5 hours flew by so very fast. I highly recommend starting with this tour first.

Raymonda's expansive knowledge on the historical culture of Latvia, specially on the Art Nouveau Movement, is very impressive! Her vibrant personality made the tour fun, interesting and full of tidbits on famous Latvians that I would definitely not know of if I didn't join the tour. I highly recommend to everyone to join this specific tour!

We took this tour on our first full day in Riga and it set us up well for the rest of our week there.

A big chunk of the tour focused on the city's beguiling art nouveau architecture, but it also touched upon some Latvian literary figures, and the country's struggle for independence in the 20th century.

Our guide Raimonda was excellent. Her delivery conveyed a wry sense of humour, and she was easy to hear despite having to compete with the usual background noise of a good-sized city. She also pitched the tour at exactly the right level in terms of detail so that I came away from the tour feeling much better informed, rather than overwhelmed.

The tour was well-structured and consequently the 2.5 hours flew by. Extremely worthwhile.
