I stayed at the Doma Hostel in April 2007 and had a reasonably enjoyable stay. The hostel is about 10-15 mins walk from the bus/train stations and apart from all the cobbled streets i had no trouble getting there. The woman at reception wasn't very good however, and managed to photocopy the wrong side of my passport which several days later led to me being asked to pay them a refund for not using the room they had reserved me when i had. The rooms were a good size, even if the beds were a bit shabby and the showers/toilets were kept clean. There was also a common room which had satellite TV and internet access and was a good place for meeting people. The hostel was located right in the heart of Riga and was a great location to go exploring.
