I loved xdream
All the staff were friendly especially the bar staff!
The rooms were big and clean with great En-suite!
All the guests were very happy or hung-over so everyone got along.
I didn’t get a chance to use the spa but it looked very nice.
They organised extra events for us to do if we had a bit of free time.
I would definitely stay here again!!

I started the holiday thinking the hotel was going to be cheap and nasty and everyone was out to rip you off judging by some of the reviews!! however I cant praise this hotel enough we went as a group of 9 and had an amazing time, not one of us came back dissapointed it was much better than expected!!! The hotel staff couldnt do enough for you and the fact they are all gorgeous helps!!!!! The food was lovely a little expensive compared to the town but that was expected!!! The activities were amazing we did the shooting, go karting and beer biking all are well worth doing!!! The guided bar crawl is a must the night life was incredible and a great atmosphere!!!! Over all we had a fantastic weekend and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

We stayed on the top floor and the rooms were basic but clean, bathroom was clean too. Drinks weren't the cheapest at the bar, but it's a stag do joint so they will milk every last sent they can get. Late night bar food was cheap and good, but when your drunk and it's 3am most things are. It seems to be a few different outfits running out of the place, so while some of the staff are nice (and easy on the eyes, bar staff epically) some you could tell didn't give a rats and weren't bothered. But drunk stag groups week in and week out who can blame them. If your on a stag I would recommended it

Ok so this is a stag venue, not for a couple to enjoy a brek in Latvia...

Room small (room 21) and pretty smelly even before 4 lads stay in it. Shower ok (bit mouldy but you won't care if you're here for a stag do). The inclusive breakfast is as another review described it. It literally is the two end slices from a sliced white loaf, which have gone a bit hard and stale, with some slices of cheese and sausage meat, a butter and a jam, and a coffee. Breakfast is served in the bar.

The "Upgrade" which looked expensive for what it is, takes forever. The waitress explained to one of our party that they had their breakfast "taken by someone else"...?!? And she would have to pay herself for a new one now... Another of the party waited over 1 hour for their upgrade breakfast. I thought it looked ok though when it came.

The bar is expensive. The ladies very attractive, friendly and English speaking. Security is very good. Room 21 is in a block opposite the hotel across the road. There is a combination lock, a guard, stairs, locked door with guard, bedroom door with keycard lock. Pretty safe. There was a small safe in the room too. Several plug sockets, so it's good for charging mobiles. There was a TV, but we did not use it.

Staff here all women and all good looking and English speaking. If you need a taxi to the old town, ask them at reception. 10 lats seemed to get 7 of us to the old town.

It was a fantastic weekend and my rating is for the overall experience. If it was just the room and breakfast, it would have been a 1 for sure. But you do not go to this hotel (hostel?) for 5 star accommodation. Not sure what it actually is called: Hotel X-dream, Stag Hotel or Dream X hotel, but if you want to go to Riga for a party, it is good for that.

Room Tip: Some reviews said about noise from the bar. Ask for a room in the block across the road if this bothers you. Honestly, if I was going here for a stag do I would probably not notice the noise after a few beers and shots and bottles and dancing with the ladies and and...

I wasn't overly impressed by this place having stayed here last weekend for a stag do.

The rooms were spacious, but the walls and doors paper thin! You could literally hear the music downstairs in the gentlemens club and the noisy guests going out/coming back in the morning. Oh and the water- was funny yellowy/browny coloured, I'm pretty sure I wasn't that dirty going into the shower!

Included continental Breakfast was a yoghurt, two pieces of stale bread, 3 slices of spam and some rubbe cheese. Coffee/tea an juices are extra as is the full English at 5 lats! I expect they make the continental so bad because they want you to purchase the English.

Taxi's to the old town cost 10 lats from the hotel, but if you use taxis red or yellow taxis only 2.5 lats. You can in fact walk it in 15mins! So not really worth 10 each way! (At the time of writing This = 12gbp)

The gentlemens club, hmmm well only went for my free drink and ended up being accosted 3 times in the time I got from the door to the bar! The ladies overly pushy! The type of place that would make you feel pretty uncomfortable.

The activities and pub crawl organised was pretty good, and can recommend the bobsleigh activity (with the full on sleds, rather than the joking padded ones). It will cost extra, but is worth it!

Overall, Latvia not as bad as people make out. Great stag destination, but probably wouldn't recommend this place given the choice..... If u want budget and don't care about seediness - then it might work for you. If on the other hand you are more mature and professional - then seek somewhere in town!
