“Small, cozy hotel, good value”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

Cozy hotel in the absolute centre of Riga with friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and nice interior. Basically nothing to complain about, its perfect for a weekend trip. Maybe downside is that the room was on the small side. Everything in Riga can be reached within a short walk, there is nice restaurants and bars nearby, so location was very good. Price was very good in relation to what you get. When asking for directions the staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel.

The hotel is nicely located, in the city center. Very friendly staff, very pleasant design. We stayed in the luxury room, that was just splendid! Private terrace to enjoy Riga night smell. Very good quality of food in the restaurant. Well, the bill for the hotel is on the top of what you can find here.
Room service and restaurant stop at 11pm. So if you arrived late there is 24h open pizza-burger place in 20 meters from the hotel.

I stayed in hotel only one night.
First need to mention perfect location in old town: especially if you arrive by bus or train.
Staff is unbelievable friendly and helpful, room nice and clean, food in restaurant was amazing.
I was leaving hotel at 5 in the morning before breakfast service, but when I was checking out I was given a “breakfast box” with freshly toasted sandwich, yogurt and fruit, - so I could have a snack in taxi on the way to airport- newer had such personal approach in any hotel before, - this gesture just topped everything above, will be back without a doubt, and recommend to anyone.

Easy to get to, easy to get around from this hotel, and such a cute set up. Breakfast room in the cellar was the only downside, but the food available was great, and you cannot beat this place for value for money in this little quaint city

This hotel is centrally located in Old Town. it is modern and stylish, but with small rooms. Staff is friendly and helpfull. No WIFI in rooms, but free (slow) cabled internet. TV has more than 60 channels in most European languages. Shops, bars AND restaurants just outside the door.

Stayed at this hotel at the beginning of January'13. First of all I would like to mention its' perfect location - near the Old Town, bus and train station, a ten minute walk from the famous art nouveau district. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just excellent, with a very good choice food. They said to us that wi-fi was available only in the lobby, but we had no problems in accessing it in our room on the fifth floor. Now about the drawbacks. First of all, it has already been mentioned that the rooms are rather hot. I can fully and sincerely confirm this. On several nights we had to open the window in our room just to let some fresh air in. And as the night life around the place is rather active one has to make a choice between fresh air during the night and the absence of noises which can bother one's sleep. Next trouble we had with different noises coming from other rooms, The soundproofing is just awful, sometimes we had the impression that someone was in our wardrobe or bathroom, but that was only noises from the neighboring rooms. And one more piece of advice I would like to give to the future guests of this hotel - it is worth the trouble to wake up and have breakfast as early as possible. The restaurant where breakfast is served is rather small, during our stay only two girls from the hotel staff were looking after the food and the dishes, they did their best but sometimes just could not manage to replenish the supply of food and clean dishes as fast as one could wish. So it makes sense to have an early breakfast, when most of the other guests are still asleep, and go explore the streets of the Riga Old Town in the morning, when they all will belong to you only. 

An excellent hotel, very centrally located and with easy transport links to the airport. We had a comfortable room and the restaurant served delicious meals to the extent that we chose to eat in the hotel twice (which we dont usually do). Staff were very helpful and friendly. We would visit again.
