Found this place when visiting Riga for a prolonged weekend.
The place doesn't look of much from the outside: Old, battered wooden house and a huge picture of a greasy child in the window. However, inside was it real café atmosphere with counters FILLED with delicious and cheap cakes, that one could enjoy by one of the many small tables with comfortable chairs. It was quite popular. While we were sitting having each 2(!) cakes, a bunch of women, a father and a child, an elederly couple etc. In other words: the place is for everybody.
As with most bakeries/cafés in Latvia, they both serve drinks, coffee, tea, juice and more, and apart from cakes, they alo sell pirogues and foccacia.
I don't think many tourists come here, but I wil highly recommend this place if you ever come out of the old city to explore more :)
