This tour takes you away from tourist sights and guides you outside of the old center. The guide was funny and his way of telling the story of the city made it really interested. To do even if you are just there for one day.

The Free Walking Tour around Riga was anything but standard. The guide was brutally honest and very funny, she had an overwhelming pride for her town and people and yet a very realistic point of view. We saw parts of the town that could easily be missed and her knowledge was impeccable. The best few hours I spent in Riga, and would recommend it to anyone visiting this city.

Both walks are very good organized and the guides are doing a super job, making it fun and social. Maybe interact a bit more, having people guessing more facts and stuff, would be even better. 5 stars for you guys!

A great and memorable introduction which skips over the easy to see Old town and shows you the more interesting areas on the periphery.... Places you might not go otherwise, or not realize the significance of. If you go make sure you do it at the beginning of your stay as otherwise there maybe some,
Or may in my case, locations which you have already seen.... While he did tell us things about them I didn't know I wish I had done the tour to begin with and then explored the numerous places our awesome guide suggested ! A++

Just cause this is a free tour doesn't mean it's a bad tour, it's anything but that. You can see the normal stuff walking around town, but taking the tour gives you a different side of the city that you don't get to see every day. 1 thing you need to be aware of, be ready to walk and the guides go at a faster pace then your normal tour, so keep up. No fee for it, but that do like tips at the end.
