Description: Paddy Whelan's - the first Irish pub in the Baltic's! Since 1995 we have been offering more than 50 beloved local and global beers and ciders, including the classic Irish Guinness, our own Užava, Brenguļi, Valmiermuiža and other beers, and many more. We also offer a wide range of foods, and because we never want to limit our taste buds, we have traditional Irish dishes, popular burgers and sandwiches, breakfast and lunch offers, popular Latvian foods for our local fans, and our pride and joy - homemade Indian foods at affordable prices! We are still one of the most popular venues in Rīga for live sports broadcasts, leisurely evenings, and a chance to meet local Latvians, local foreigners and guests of the city who have stopped by for a pint of beer, a glass of whiskey and a tasty meal. We are a member of the Latvian Association of Hotels and Restaurants, and we are delighted to help out in improving the hospitality environment in Rīga and throughout Latvia. No matter from where you come and no matter what you do on a daily basis, Paddy Whelan's will always welcome you. Come on in, have a seat, and enjoy a glass of beer. Maybe two.

Fro starters the staff once again are friendly here. It could do with an Irish band to give it that extra feel, and the fact that the bar staff arent Irish dont help, but i guess you cant ask for everything.

We ate in there twice. Once for dinner and once for Breakfast. The burgers there are amazing. Really well cooked and gorgeous. The breakfasts arent thow. We ordered scrambled eggs etc and they didnt look cooked properly.

To be honest dont come here if you want the "true" Irish feel as you wont get it, but still worth a visit for the odd pint or food.

Visited during lunchtime. Ok food, ok beer even if I would wish for a larger beer selection. The service was a bit slow.

We went on a stag weekend and wanted to watch the Rugby, no problem with this pub. We had the Private room was booked for us and plenty of service was laid on. Eddie & all the Staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. The variety of food and drink is fantastic and quality was perfect but most of all they let you enjoy yourselves. A very big thank you from all of us.

For stag parties and football.
Regretted the second I entered. Left after a pint and some nachos when a guy came in wearing a monkey costume...

We found this place on-line as we were planning a stag do and decided to give it a visit. We had such a good time we came back everyday for the rest of the trip. We had a package stag do which gave us a pretty shoddy hotel in an undesirable area of the city and took us round the usual stripper bars and clubs well equipped to extract your cash so this was a welcome venue off the beaten track. The staff made sure our stay was absolutely brilliant booking us a private room to watch the rugby one day then looking after our every need for a 13 hour pub session the next, they even made sure we had a decent cab home. The bill was very very reasonable too. I honestly can't rate the place high enough.
