I was a little hesitant driving up, and a little hesitant upon entering the room (quaint would be descriptive ). But, this hotel is great!!! They win the best breakfast ever award. There were a couple of tour groups at breakfast consuming virtually everything on the buffet in sight, but you can order a la carte, and the eggs benedict, eggs cooked to order with bacon, and pancakes were all great. And the staff replenished the buffet, so you could eventually try the things there also.
Our room was comfortable and quiet. And the staff and service were great. Location is good too. Extremely pleased.

No doubt....the best hotel in town - also when it comes to value for money!
Cannot think of any other place in Tartu wjere you are meet by a white smile, good humor, excellent service, fantastic breakfast......and a very good night's sleep in a beautiful room with the best view you can imagine....simply the best!!!

Great Location in the Center, near the pedestrian Zone. Almost everything is in walking distance. Staff was friendly and breakfast very nice. Bathroom was probably one of the largest I have seen in a while in a hotel room. The only slight drawback is that if you have a lower Level room facing the bars and restaurants you will have action outside until 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning (for that I was considering only four points - but I am sure there is more quiet rooms than we had), . Also, if you dont come on a weekend parking will be a bigger challenge.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and always find the staff, accommodation, cleanliness, food above standard, and is situated in a quiet street opposite the University in the centre of the city of Tartu. Excellent value for money, even if the room is not cheap for Estonia. Would highly recommend.

Modest from the outside but once you step inside you are greeted by friendly, professional staff and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. It is very tastefully decorated in a style in keeping with history but with modern convenience. Room 201 was very large and very comfortable. Very nice bathroom with shower and separate bath. Restaurant is first class. Small menu presented with skill and modern interpretations and flavours. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the atrium part of the very old cellars. For more privacy there are many small cellar nooks for dining. Just a short walk to the old market square. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in three weeks of travelling Poland and the Baltic countries. Certainly one of the best dinners. If you plan to visit Tartu, don't miss staying at Antonius and dining in their restaurant. It's a gem.

Room tip: 201 does not have a view but is large and very quiet.
