Great spot for a panorama of Tallinn, however, it can be very crowded. I’d suggest early hours of the morning or late at golden hour, so the sun would give a romantic tinge to the photo, but you wouldn’t have to fight for space.

A must visit! Great panoramic views; other locations for views would be: Helleman Tower and Town Wall, St Olaf's Cathedral, Neitsitorn Museum, Viewing Platform - Patkuli.

You get a nice photo op at this viewing poing, but so will the other 10,000 tourists visiting Tallinn with you, And you are all jostling for the best spot for a classic picture.

It's one of the obligatory photo opportunities in Tallinn, but if you skip it, and all the crowds, it won't ruin your trip. In fact, there are many better photo spots all around town.

Tallinn is a pretty town, and it was nice to be able to have a good (though I would not say spectacular) view of the city on a nice day. We actually went to both this and the Patkuli viewing points; the views were not that much different but we prefer the latter. Crowded as expected; we went during lunch hour where the crowds did thin out a bit
