“Not cheap but good, rich hot chocolate”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

At 4€ for a mug of the house special hot chocolate, and 5€ for a slice of cake, this is not somewhere to come if you aren't hungry/thirsty enough to really enjoy it. The hot chocolate was, though, very good, with real chocolate dribbled inside of the mug and a frothy topping. Come here for a treat.

“Amazing”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

The best chocolate heaven East of Belgium. The terrace and the court yard are gorgeous. I'd rather go in the summer when you can have your coffee outside. But the interior is equally amazing. Cute elements from 1920' 30' and 40'. Handmade truffels and cakes and pastry. delicious.

“Terrible! Tourist price trap and overpriced for locals!!! Avoid!”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

I have stayed in Tallinn for 3yrs now and know many of the cafes and bars here! I love Tallinn and its atmosphere. But when I went with a friend to this place! I was shocked! €3 for a hot chocolate which was luke warm, €6 for two 'warm' hot chocolates!!! Honestly, Nesquick in the mircowave would have impressed me more!! The service was terrible and there was no atmosphere!!! The 2 guys working had some friends chatting to them on the steps by the display counter! Like they were sitting in their lounge chillin. Then the one guy working there went to sit with a friend and they surfed the internet! Great for customers to see!

I was honestly shocked! Real tourist prices and certainly intended to maybe alienate the good local trade!! I will never ever go back and would not recommend this place anyone or any tourists!!! Not if they want a good feel factor experience in Tallinn. My advice would be to avoid this place and save the money where you could get 4 awesome hot chocolates at this price, plus warm friendly service!!

“Oh Pierre!”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

So romantic little chocolatiere in back yard. You can sit also outside with candles and pillows and it's soooo romantic! The pieces of handmade chocolats are so good and beautifully made! The service was great and hot chocolate was real chocolate. Inside interior was bric a'brac, this and dat but nice and cosy. AND you can buy chocolate pieces to go in the nicest boxes ever seen.

“Best hot chocolate ever”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Funky tiny little place, chili / rum and raisin hot chocolate - the best I ever had. Came back twice in one week visit just to have it! Yes it is not cheap but it was special. Recommended, if you can find it that is, hidden up a tiny alleyway. Great winter hideaway.
