“If you love chocolate...”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

Cafe and chocolaterie in a backyard, where you can sit outside and enjoy your chocolate. This summer-evening even with live music. The atmosphere is really quite unique.

“Starbucks groupies - look elsewhere”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

It seems that a previous reviewer thinks that just because this place is small and in 'back alley' that makes it useless. I think this entirely misses the point. Tallin is a medieval town and this coffee shop is entirely in character both in terms of location and ambience. The chocolate cakes are freshly made each day by the owner and the hot chocolate is made by simply melting chocolate with hot milk. This place is quirky and a little kitsch but I am sure there is a large chrome and plastic Starbucks somewhere in the new town you (and they) can visit instead... and possibly a McDonalds as well.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

Came here last time we came to Tallinn and enjoyed it so much I looked forward to another visit. However this time the waitress was rather surly and this spoilt it. Shame as chocolate fantastic.

“Get the pastries in the morning”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

The hot chocolate is good here. We were lucky enough to get some pastries here in the morning when they were still warm. Soooo tasty. The chocolates are a bit pricey but have some exotic flavors if you like that. Sitting outside in Meistrite Hoov (Master's Courtyard) is perfect.

“Overrated, overpriced and average coffee-shop.”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

Few things for an ordinary coffee shop that i will not visit probably again and i would not really recommend.

We had pastries with coffee. Pastries were ok, nothing special to remember, coffee as usual, service ok and atmosphere nice (the only thing worth).
