We have had several good lunches and dinners at Aed since 2008, and to an unbeatable price. And apparently so have many others, which has made it rise to be #2 of almost 200 restaurants in Tallinn.
Unfortunately, now it is exactly worth what you spend, which is not much.
Every singel portion used to be a piece of art with interesting and delicious combinations of various ingredients. Now they look OK, nothing more.
The soups, we tasted fishsoup and creamy broccoli soup, tasted nothing. The duck used to be very good, now it was ok but nothing special. My "mutton cutlet" was a hamburger beef of minced meet. The creme brulee with strawberries was good and so was the chocolate cake.
The first times we visited they had white tables cloths, then they change the concept to be more lounge like and they have something ruglike in dark colours on the tables. Before sitting down I brushed off bread / cork crumbs from the table.
Thank you for several good meals in the past, sorry to see this development!
