Our first night in this hotel was OK. We were given a room outside in the courtyard with a function room opposite. We asked for another room as thought it may be noisy. Got a room on the 2nd floor (222). Walls to adjacent rooms paper thin heard everything guests in adjoining rooms were doing - talking, breathing, snoring etc.safe didn't work. Breakfast nice, hotel right in the centre of old town and good internet. Those are the good points. Our second night I have never heard noise like it coming from the club/kareoke bar under the hotel (ooluki/golden goose) which seem to be owned by hotel.Kept awake until 5am our second and third night. Third night we bought earplugs and could still hear the noise and vibration from the club. Went to reception to complain receptionist un-helpful wouldn't do anything about the noise. If you do stay in this hotel, ask for a room away from the north wing and not on lower floors or don't stay Thurs to Saturday. All reception staff un-helpful

Second time here, now we got a room with a massive building straight in front of our window so we couldn't really enjoy the views. We could hear everything from the room next to us.. every argue and constant snoring. WiFi didn't work in our room.
Breakfast was good I think. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and service was OK. Location was perfect.

We booked a room in this nice hotel for this weekend! We loved the place the hotel is located and also the atmosphere! The breakfast was tasty and the staff welcoming. Also the room satisfied our needs. Only one bit we didn't enjoy was the smell coming from bathroom and filling the whole room. Like a smell from pipes or smth like that.

This hotel is an originally 15th century building, conveniently sited in the old city. The staff at the desk are very helpful with local information such as bus routes to out-of town sights and obtaining a second pillow.

However there is no lift and a lot of noise came through from the night-owls returning to their room above.

Nevertheless I would return here if I visit Tallinn again in the near future.

Perhaps we were unlucky, but the hot water at breakfast was too far from boiling to make a proper cup of tea; though the coffee was perfectly acceptable.

Great location, friendly staff, lovely design, good value for money. The only thing was that one should have asked the reception for the size of the room as they are not all that big - if one cares. Overall: recommended.
