We stayed three nights in May.
The hotel is very well located, in the old town
We had a room in the older part of the building, which we liked.
The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, we appreciated the dark hard wood floor, the thick towels and robes
The staff was pleasant and helpful and took good care of us.
The breakfast is good, varied, and plentiful.
The bathroom 's decor is quite surprising: two framed vintage, almost antique, photos of disrobed women…
is it an Estonian tradition ? was the decorator French ? one wonders.
We had a very good dinner at their restaurant.
Arriving from Helsinki, we walked with our suitcases to the hotel from the ferry terminal, which was fine, although the cobbled streets made it just a little more difficult at the end.
Leaving, to Riga, we took a taxi to the bus station.
