This hotel was ideally situated for my purposes as I was also visiting Helsinki. Easily reachable from the airport (number 2 bus stops right outside) and right by the ferry port, the hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the Old Town and there is a shopping mall only 3 minutes away. The hotel itself is nothing special to look at but the rooms are comfortable enough for a short stay, the staff are really helpful and breakfast is very good both in terms of choice and quantity. All in all this hotel gives excellent value for money.

Room Tip: Tallinn is a working port so rooms at the front can get pretty noisy at night - bring earplugs and leave the Air Conditioning on to drown out the noise of the machinery or get a room at the back.

the hotel is in a convenient position - close to the city centre and directly in front of the harbour to take the ferry to Helsinki (2 hours). the rooms are nice and clean. breakfast is abundant and excellent.

Was looking for a place to take a shower, ended up checking in to the City Hotel.
Overall a nice clean although basic hotel, 10 minutes walk from the old town and right next to the ferry terminal.
Certainly met my needs, however i did find it rather noisy - both due to the port forklifts and noisy neighbours. Don't like to sleep with the windows closed!
Staff were friendly although was asked to pay a further €6 for an hour early check in. Never had to do that in more expensive hotels.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are probably quieter, but no view!

We didn't spend much time at the hotel actually, but it was very suitable for our purposes to spend one day and night in Tallinn. It is located right near the harbour but it's from walking distance from old town. Breakfast was also good but there are also shops nearby where you can by something to eat and drink. This hotel is a good choice for those who are arriving Tallinn by boat.

Hotel was very nice simple with nice interior especially the colour good location and neat. The low point for us was the television was a bit outdated, Breakfast was excellent, workers were quite helpful, the prices were affordable best for cheap travellers. We recommend this hotel to friends and people who are interested in coming to talliin for holiday.
