I can understand to the seasoned hotel connoisseur this place might seem a bit bland and average: it's got all the essentials, but not a lot of finery in the details - the TV is pretty pointless, you have to pay to use all the extra additional services etc. However, as a traveller used to cheap basics this hotel is fairly luxurious. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the free breakfast is huge, it's in a great location and it has free wifi. Maybe not a four star hotel, and maybe not the best of its kind - but it's alright! I think the difference is in the little extras others place might add for the same price. Would not warn people away, let's put it that way.

A typical bland city hotel. Nothing special about it really, it's what you expect. The style of the hotel did remind me of cheap baltic cruise ships, but then that is Tallink's business so it should not surprise anyone.

The clientele here is not your average 4-star (really, is this hotel a 4-star hotel? hmmm) hotel clientele, most of the other guests looked like typical booze cruise travellers that were probably here on some business conference and sat and had a few too many beers in the bar.

The breakfast buffé was OK. The location of the hotel in town was good. 10 minutes in a taxi from the airport.

The hotel lies just outside the old city (10 minute walk)and is a typical tour group hotel. The welcome was friendly and warm.

I was earlier then the 14:00 check-in time but that was no problem. My bicycle, I cycled the Baltic Countries, found a safe place in the luggage storage area which is always guarded. Good work.

The room decoration was somewhat dull, I had the feeling they copied the interior design of the cabins on their ferries. Have not tried those yet so I maybe wrong.

Otherwise the room was OK with a nice clean bathroom, TV with some international channels, a mini-bar and free WiFi which work OK in my room. I noted that some internet sites did not come through so I wondered if those were blocked.

As my room was on the old city side on the 7th floor I got a glimpse of some of the old churches there. Most of it is blocked from sight though by an ugly big hotel.

There was a laundry service which I used. Not the cheapest I think.

I was planning to use the sauna on my arrival but that was not possible as free use is only available between 6:30 and 10:00 in the morning. After that it is hired to private groups of maximum 8 persons for € 35,- /hour.

The lobby has some shops and a bar.

The breakfast buffet is the usual hassle with so many people in the hotel. If you are unlucky you are in long lines to get some food. Food was OK as it is in most of this type of hotels. Refills were regular and the tables are cleared constantly.

Stayed at this hotel in June 2012. The hotel is very nicely located in the middle of the city centre. I was given a small double room and the room had nothing spesial too it, but it was clean and tidy and decorated in cream, gold and brown colours. The Tv set was old fashion and among 21 channels BBC World was the only international channel. The rest I believe is Finnish, Estonian and Russian. Few facilities in the room, no hairdryer, no waterboiler, no selection of coffe/tea, and no trouserpresser. Also, the aircondition unit makes too much noise to my taste.
The breakfast was really boring, but was included in the room price. On the pluss side there is free wifi and it is pretty fast. The staff din not impress me, and the girl in the beautysaloon was uppsettngly negative an seemed to very torde of her occupation! The lobby all has a small bar, and right across the street from the hotel is a decent mall. The old tonn is a mere 5 minutes walk away from the hotel.

We stayed here with family. We had a junior suite, which was on the 10th floor and the view was ok, not brilliant, but ok. The suite fit us four ok, but it wasn´t very big. It could have been bigger for four of us.

Location is perfect and people at the reception very helpful, but I think this should be 3* not 4* hotel.

Breakfast was ok, typical hotelbreakfast, nothing more.
