I suggest this museum for everyone who loves history and the sea. Beautiful and modern exposition even with one of the first Estonian submarines. With ticket You also get possibilities to visit some of the old ships standing outside the museum. Playground for children at the museum

Arrived and was immediately impressed by the interior and layout. Subdued lighting and a relaxed atmosphere. Upper level cafe serving coffee / beers etc with seating. The submarine is a wonderful exhibit. Can walk down into and along most parts seeing the original living quarters engine rooms, torpedo bay, and so many turn dials gauges. Mind your head in places if tall! Other items such as sea mines and defence guns and a tank. A shoot down planes game was fun and a continuous surround film area where you can watch life as was on sea worthy crafts and the reality after being at sea for long lengths of time and the pastimes afterwards! A good 3 hours !!

I got the blue line hop on hop off bus here. I bought the 24hour Tallinn Plus Card which gave me free entry here and free bus tour. The museum is so interesting and very interactive.

A must see on your travels to Tallinn. It kept myself and husband occupied for quite sometime, very hands on and easy to follow.
