The Pirita cloister is beautifully maintained and for a very modest entry fee, you can enjoy wandering around the grounds. The nearby Pirita beach is a haven for windsurfing and other beach activities. The windier the day, the better

Even on a windy, grey March day, you can still enjoy the beauty of this beach. Backed by a small pine forest, the sand extends for a couple of kilometres along the Tallinn coast. Easy to get to on the bus from Viru bus station (20 minute journey) and totally worth it. Not much infrastructure, but that’s a good thing.

One of the best beaches I ever been to in Europe. Totally free access, it has a beautiful pines forest on the back, mini golf, surfing facilities, ice cream kiosks, beach volley, and you can also appreciate an awesome view of Tallinn from there. I love also Pirita Tee, the huge promenade that takes you to the beach.

We went to this beach when the weather was wet and cold but we enjoyed a long walk with our family. There were hardly any people. The sound of waves and quacking of ducks was the only sound we could hear. It is a well maintained beach. Would like to go there in summer again

Pirita is only 5 km from city center (Tallinn) is definitely worth a visit. Is a very nice welcoming place to enjoy sun, and the view on the city is fascinating
