What's this? 258 steps up a narrow spiral stone stairway built before 1267 AD using just a rope to prevent tragedy and it only costs 3 Euros for adults. Then when you reach the platform up top, you hope it's been maintained recently. All I can say is, Count me in.
My wife and I didn't know about the climb to the top before our visit to St. Olaf's church. Glad we made it. Once you reach the top platform it's not for the faint of heart. It's also not really made for many visitors at the same time.
It was certainly worth the effort to climb all those stone steps to the viewing platform and take photos of the surrounding old town.More
