The Apothecary is indeed very old (15th century) and is a very attractive building. The museum is part of the oldest working pharmacy in Europe and is not very big, just one small room. There are some fascinating items to see, but in the main the exhibits would interest people in the trade and those who like to see old instruments and apparatus.
If you are looking for a small diversion and have the interest then it is a good way to spend a few minutes.

This is probably the coolest little gem in Tallinn Old Town. The pharmacy has operated in the same building since the 15th century. The exhibition is not huge, but this little pharmacy has a very long, rich history. You're lucky if you can get a guide that can run you through the story behind it.
My favourite is the marzipan that is made according to the medieval recipe (you can still buy it for €2-€3 euros if I remember correctly) and the 16-year old boy's letter to the future generations written in 1827 discovered in the apothecary wall in 1999. You can also buy spiced Klaret wine, also made according to a recipe of the 15th century if you're into that.
It's not a Disney-style adventure attraction, but if you are interested in history you will find it wonderful.

The apothecary was interesting with an interesting history. It is reported to be the oldest continuously operating apothecary in Europe in the same location. There is a small museum to see.

Old pharmacies can be found anywhere in Europe. I would stop for a wonderful room with great atmosphere. In this case we have a simple room with some old furniture and a few old things. But nothing to remember.

Whilst in Tallinn's old town square visit the old apothecary which is housed bang opposite the town hall. It really is a living museum with exhibits of medieval apothecary practice and also housing present day medical needs. Good view of the townhall from the windows too.
