“Lovely museum”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

Brilliant display of recent (2011) trunk discovery. Unbelievable that things like this are still so recently being discovered and more unbelievable to note that in less than a year they had come up with a brilliant museaum display of it. Not locked away for years of "investigation" and need for cash to create the display. Way to go.

“Very interesting”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

The Guild Hall does two things. First, it gives you the history of Estonia in a short and intereting way. And, second, you get to see the building itself. The basement is over 600 years old and you get a complete view of how they built in those times. To us, this was the most interesting part of our Baltic trip so far. The cost is very reasonable.

Not a big museum. The historical premises are cool though.

“Good displays upstaged by the Israeli pianist...”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

We arrived late in the afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the many displays. As we raced to get through them all before closing time, the grand piano was opened and the pianist began practicing for his recital due to commence in about one hour! Glorious.....but the Hall is worth visiting even without the soundtrack!!
