They did a great job showing you what the passages were like over time... very interesting. Cool intro video to the passages. We didn't see the museum

We really enjoyed this museum, especially the walk in the freezing cold tunnels under the bastion. Everything is well presented and highly informative - it was an interesting way to learn about Tallinn's past and potential future. We can highly recommend this museum.

Tower is very interesting museum and worth to visit. Bastion passages gives a lot of information and is also worth to visit. Book ahead if you want to visit passages. It is best to go to tower 10.30 opening time, big groups are coming after. Prices are reasonable, ~ 8€ joint ticket.

The tower with its exhibits is well worth visiting and the historical videos on two of the floors depicting the development of Tallinn over centuries were very informative and well worth the time to sit and listen to.
It is important to book your tour in the bastion tunnels and the tours are organised with appropriate language guides.
The bastions are cold especially this time of year and there are blankets provided, don’t be shy take one as you will appreciate its warmth on the tour.
If you are claustrophobic you may want to give the bastions a miss.

As you walk in the Bastion Tunnels, you'll progressively go back in the old times of Tallinn from the Soviet era to the onset of the Swedish invasion. the first part of the visit has a strong historical interest whereas the second part in which you board a roller coaster is quite tedious. Indeed, its aim is to give you a general overview of how Tallinn could look like in a couple of centuries.

The Kiek in de Kok Tower hosts a bar at its top and displays a wide range of swords, riffles and of medieval instruments of torture, namely the rack, the pillory...
Besides these latter instruments, the view from the top of the tower is very enjoyable.
