Owner description: Located on top of Cathedral Hill, this historic church has served as a burial place for noble families since the 13th century.

This in fact is not just a church, it is in fact a cathedral. The inside walls are adorned with large coat of arms representing some of those buried within the church. Seemingly, the noble folks were convinced that, if they got a tomb within the church, their eternal salvation was assured!
Don't miss the superb organ that still operates.
A must see historic attraction.

This is a lovely old church located at the top of Toompea Hill. Plain but beautiful inside, with many carved coats of arms hung on the white walls. No need to spend a long time here, but it is worth your while to take the time to pop in. The admission fee is low, with a small additional charge to climb the tower.

We found this nice medieval church at the highest point of Tallinn's old town made for a very interesting visit. Give yourself enough time to really appreciate the beautiful crests on the walls. And, the €3 fee to climb the towered is well worth the fabulous view over the rooftops of the old town

Toompea Hill is one of the most visited area in Tallinn, so it's definitely worth of little climb from Old Town. There are lots embassies, goverment buildings and also Churches like this one. You can go inside without entrance fee, but if you want to climb to their 69 metres bell tower, then you have to pay 2€.
