St. Mary's Church is the oldest church in Tallin. If in the area it is worth stopping in; however, I would not go out of my way to see it.

Extremely old church which has previously been razed by fire. Amazing and historic interior. If you have the energy, you can walk up the tower stairs. Lucky for us, the ancient pipe organ was being played
A very refined interior with a wonderful pulpit and altar from 17th century. The numerous shields adorning the interior walls had us mesmerised. A peaceful sanctuary befitting its status as cathedral for the Estonian Lutheran Church.
Lutheran churches are always impressively sober and elegant -inside and outside- but the Domkirik has unusual features: scores of carved wood coats-of-arms of Tallinn's prominent families, a little glass box hanging in front of the pulpit (where the rich could hear mass away from the crowd and the cold!) and a stunning view of Toompea from the bell-tower. Well worth a visit!
Great view from the tower. The church is older and has a much more medieval feel to it with old wooden crests lining the white stone walls. 2 euro entrance fee including the tower.
This church is situated on Toompea Hill just up the road from the castle, its one of many beautiful churches in Tallinn and the inside is full of history so its well worth a look, the disapointing factor is that like most of Tallinns churches there is a cost for admission ( 2 Euro I think ) and a further 2-3 Euro if you want to climb the tower, I did not make the climb as I felt the view from the various viewing platforms on Toompea Hill could not be bettered and it would be pointless paying again for the same view.
