The rooms were not the best. Furnitures were pretty old but the entrance and the reception were stylish. Definitely the advantage of this hotel is the location. It is in the same building than two best restaurants in Tallinn, Rukis and Farm. The hotel is not far from the terminal, spas, old town, shopping centers. It is close to everything that is what makes it a great choise for a visit in Tallinn.

This modern, well-priced hotel was a perfect location for our six-night stay in Tallinn's old town. The address is on Vana Viru, the tourist-filed pedestrian street at the east end of old town, but the hotel entrance is on its north side, away from the busy street. Lots of souvenir shops and restaurants nearby, including a McDonald's, which we found useful for quick, cheap breakfasts. (The hotel's small breakfast buffet was an overpriced 16 euros per person.) Our hotel was a great location for local transportation. Walk east two blocks along Vana Wiru to Viru Valijak, where all four of Tallinn's tram lines run. Line #4 goes to the airport, with a stop along the way (Bussijaam stop) that's a block from Tallinn's international coach terminal. The trams on Line #4 are more modern than the others, with one easy step up, and room for luggage in the stroller space in the front car. Trams #1 and #3 go to Kadriorg Park, where the main art museums are located. Tram fares are 2 euros cash each way, paid to the driver (exact change only). Just east of the tram lines on Viru Valijak is a large, multi-story shopping mall called Viru Keskus, whose basement level includes a supermarket and Tallinn's main city bus terminal. We knocked a point off our hotel rating because our twin beds were more narrow than most European hotels, and those fewer inches make turning awkward. But if you're thin - or booking a larger bed - this is an excellent place to stay.

I've been here several times, especially when discounts for senior citizens were available. The hotel has some nice rooms on the 5th floor with a view over Tallinn roofs. Some suites are equipped with Sauna or whirlpool bath which is a nice addition. The rooms are clean and bathrooms well equipped, beds are comfortable. Reception is a little Estonian...but everything got managed. You can reserve a Sauna or a steam sauna for a small fee. The breakfast is okay with a normal presentation, sometimes crowded. There's a pub/restaurant connected to the lobby - food is pretty good. When leaving the hotel you can easily get a taxi, it's round the corner. Parking place is available.

The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet street just inside the old town and two minutes walk from the main square and most attractions. There is a fantastic selection of bars, restaurants and shops nearby and, for the money, we couldn't have done better. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and, although a little basic by UK standards, everything worked - the large, powerful shower being the highlight. The beds were a tad soft for our liking but the duvets were perfect... not a problem for a few nights. We had a nice view out over the neighbouring roofs too. Buffet breakfast was 12 Euros extra but well worth it - as much tasty, hot & cold food as you want plus selection of juices, teas and coffees. We won't look any further when we return...!

Room tip: The higher the better for views

A great location in the middle of the Tallinn Old Town about 3-5min walk to the town square and within an easy walk of main attractions, bars and restaurants.

Rooms are small, clean but a little dated. Our room had two small uncomfortable single beds. But the worst thing which lowered this from a 3 to 2 star review was that the currents are tissue paper thing meaning the lights from the car park and ambient city light illuminated the room at all hours. 2am felt like 7am and along with the uncomfortable bed it made for two very bad nights sleep.

Improvements to the bed and curtains would see this being a 3/5 hotel, modernisation of the rooms 3.5/5.
