Located in the Old Town of Tallinn, we stayed here for a night. The price was reasonable, about 70 euro or so. The staff was informative but not really warm or friendly. No one smiles.
The room was clean. Don't count on amenities. The shower had a body and face one soap fits all bottle attached to the wall and you squeeze it when taking a shower. There are no bars of soap, only this one bottle.
Then, at 4:00 AM the fire alarm goes off. No fault of the hotel but some idiot sprayed the fire extinguisher in the hall which set off the fire alarm. We all gathered in the lobby and you could see the stress on the faces of the staff. If the hotels was really on fire it would've burned down as it took the Fire Team about an hour to get to the hotel.
After the fire team checks out the hotel we finally get the ok to go back to our hotel room. An apology is all we get. Of course, it was not the fault of the hotel but they could've at least offered coffee to the guests or even a glass of water.
It's a no frills hotel but the location is good. Just a few meters from the town square and many tourist spots. Many restaurants close by, also.
Would I stay again? More than likely, no.More
