My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights. We initially choose it for the price, but we were not disappointed. It was basic, but clean and the staff were very helpful. It is about 20 mins from the city centre by bus, but the bus stop is just outside the hotel. There is a beach 500 yards away that is a bit smelly but looked nice further down. All in all, a good location with easy links into Tallinn, clean enough, and the free WiFi was a bonus. We would recommend it as a base to explore this gorgeous city.

Have just returned from a short break in Tallinn. This hotel is what it is. It is a basic 2 star hotel. Room was clean and adequate for our needs. We only had one evening meal at the hotel, this was on our first evening as we were tired after travelling, but although there was nothing wrong with the meal, it was rather basic. The hotel itself is quite a distance from the centre of the city but the bus stops just around the corner and having purchased a Tallinn card, we were able to use buses, trolley buses and trams as frequently as we wanted. I would use this hotel again as a base. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

I'm told this place is a converted Soviet apartment block. We stayed here about a week and it was fine but very rough around the edges. The restaurant is for lovers of Soviet era kitsch: It's quite bizarre, but meals are OK and very reasonably priced.

Rooms are clean enough but pretty scabby, one massive plus was that smoking in rooms is allowed. The bathroom in our room was fairly grim though, and you can hear other people a fair bit. On our last night I was kept away by the very noisy and energetic nocturnal pastimes of the couple in the next room for what seemed like hours. This is not as much fun as you might imagine.

As with every hotel I've stayed in in Tallinn, the service was good and friendly. There is an ancient desktop running windows XP in the lobby for guest use, if I recall correctly, free of charge.

the hotel is a good distance from town and this makes it useful in a way, if all the hotels in Tallinn are booked solid, you will probably find room at the inn here. I don't think it'd be anyone's first choice but it's OK.

This must be one of the best 2 star hotels in Estonia,it has everthing for all travellers.24 hr bar,1st class resturant and its onyl 250 metres from the beach. It has catellite and wi-fi in the bedrooms which are both free.Breakfast is self service, amount no problem. The receptionists are all beautiful people who are extremely helpful, they are;Kia,Marilyn and the 2 Angelica'sthe dining room staff are also very polite and helpful. Anytime i am in Tallinn that is choice of hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for an even numbered room, they have a better view. The higher the better.

Nice location near the beach, very good transport to the downtown (ca. 20 min), helpful staff, however the rooms, although clean, are quite old-fashioned (Soviet style) and the building requires some renovation. Anyway, a good option for budget travelers.

Room Tip: Choose the rooms on higher floors - the lower ones might be noisier.

If you want a low priced place to stay in Tallinn, this miight be the place for you. It is basically clean, but very dated.

Front desk staff is friendly, but the kitchen staff does not smile.

Breakfast is actually pretty good, but take a pass on dinner.

Hotel Stroomi is about 15 minutes from downtown, but luckily the taxis in Tallinn are very reasonably priced.

when I booked my reservation, I wanted WiFi, but it did not work during my stay here.

Room Tip: Stroomi needs for their WiFi to work.

Stayed at the hotel Stroomi 2 nights, had chosen because of low price and proximity to the Baltic Sea. This hotel is comfortable but shabby: furniture, rugs, apparently preserved from the communism times. 24 hours noise from the street. Rooms and bathrooms are quite large. The double rooms are furnished with two single beds doubled together. Water after having shower keep on the floor and evaporate slowly, so in the end of the first day the room was full of musty smell, even the opened windows didn't help to air the room out. There was no air conditioning, we had to open the window.
Staff were very kind. There is a computer downstairs for those who need the Internet. Breakfast is standard, pretty decent.
The hotel can be reached in 15-20 minutes by bus from the center (bus № 3 and 40), the trip takes 15-20 minutes. Bus stops are around the corner. It's for about 5 minutes walk to the beach. we were disappointed in the sea because of tons of silt on the bottom and foul smell of the water. In general, the hotel isn't too bad if you're going to spend your time in the city, but too far from the centre. I don't think that I would return here again.

Room Tip: Dont get a room with windows to the street
