Not a fancy new design hotel, but a well-made hotel, with friendly and helpfull staff in a quiet street just accross the main ring around Tallinn's old town.
Jump after ca. 50 meters through the pedestrian tunnel under the ring road and enter via the Freedom Square the old town.
Perfect breakfast buffet in "Bavarian" restaurant in basement

Our first impressions were good, the hotel is well located close to the old town in a modernised old stone building. A suite with monogrammed towels and linen and great welcome by Kitru on reception seemed positive. Wifi fi was good. We were in a suite with separate seating area in a large room.

Unfortunately many poor experiences marred our experience. The stair leading up to reception is a poor choice for anyone with luggage. Our room had lovely high ceilings and fresh paint but ... Curtains were too thin to keep out the light (it stays light at night) and were too small for the window openings leaving gaps. Tea and an expresso machine were provided but no milk. A request to housekeeping was met with a curt "restaurant not open". A request to reception was met with a positive response but still no milk. The claimed airconditioning didn't do much and the room was hot in afternoon sun.

The bathroom had a new roll top bath but the shower sprayed over the floor leaving it wet and slippery. The shower fitting was poorly installed directing water into either the ceiling or the wall so showering requires you to hold the shower handle. We were surprised to find soap but no shampoo or bath products. Shelf space is minimal and away from the basin despite the large room. Finally breakfast is served in a basement with little natural light, dark furniture and staff who would appear to prefer to be elsewhere judging by sticky tables and choice not to interact with guests.

Overall it's a personal choice if the problems will matter to you but we would look elsewhere.

It's a hotel which you have seen thousand times. Location is ok, rooms are ok (although a bit dated), bathroom is ok, breakfast is ok. Everything is ok, nothing great but nothing bad either. Maybe a bit pricy for what you get. It was ok for for one night, but for longer stays I would choose something a bit more nicer.

Central location in a quiet street 5 min walk from Freedom Square. Stayed in a junior suite. Large, comfortable and nice décor. No a/c but a well functioning and silent fan to move around. Backyard view. Bathroom retro style, nice and comfortable but flood on floor after shower.

The hotel seems to be very popular among tourists. Breakfast of medium quality served in the dull basement restaurant, narrow, crowded and rather dysfunctional. Good value for money. Front desk quite reserved.

This was all the breakfast I got No juice, no eggs, no butter - everything was finished and also the coffee machine was broken. Really faught for that slice of cheese. Took my breakfast takeaway because I had some Coke at my room.
