Hotel Radisson Olympia is located 15 min drive to airport and 15min drive to old town city. Means: you need a Taxi to go anywhere. The rooms are clean but quite small. For normal business travellers like me, this is OK. But I would not book such a hotel for higher management or customers. Breakfast is OK but nothing special.

We have just returned from a 4 day stay at the Olumpia. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and about a standard size for a modern hotel. It was nice to be able to open the windows, if only a little, as the buildings seemed overheated for our taste.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful and the selection good. A 10 - 15 minute walk sees you in the old town. There is a busy road in the front of the hotel but we did not really hear it in our room. The Cafe Boulevard is a popular place to get light snacks and pastries.

I have just arrived back from a seminar/stay at the Olumpia, and the experience was generally pleasant. The staff was very helpful and swift in processing requests - as well as check-in/out. We had a three-course meal one night, and a buffet dinner the next, and the food was delicious. The breakfast is well varied and plentiful. The room I stayed in was a beast of a different nature, though: It was spacious since I'd been given a double room even though I was alone, but the interior seemed somewhat dated, especially the bathroom and the bed. I did, however, have a magnificent view of the old town and enjoyed the proximity to nearby attractions (like shopping...), as well as the free WIFI - which worked perfectly. And I slept like a baby!

We stayed at the hotel in August 2010. It is a very modern and fairly new hotel. The staff generally have a good working knowledge of english which was great and they are pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very well located not far ffrom the old town, it has a good sized lobby. However, the rooms are not overly large and we struggled a bit to organise our two medium sized suitcases but I would not mark it down too much for this.. The internet connection is free- a big plus for us, it has a king size bed-great and it was very comfortable. Air conditioning was a very big plus on a very hot day - 32 degrees celsius,. There is the mandatory mini bar for those who need a drink. The window also opens, tv reception was good, bathroom had a nice deep tub, plenty of mirrors for the ladies. We had a buffet dinner which was good. House wine was around the equivalent of $A 7.50 a glass which was very fair pricing for a hotel in my opinion- and it was drinkable as well- a big plus.Breakfast was very good with heaps of choices.Checkout was fast and efficient. I gave the buffet dinner 8/10, the breakfast 8.5/10 and the hotel overall an 8.5/10. We would certainly stay here again- highly recommended. Management are to be commended on the standard they have set.

This hotel has just received Radisson's name on it and i would say it worth it. Rooms are clean, large and have air conditioning. Breakfast is nice and has plenty of dishes to try. I had big problems with Wireless internet - it connected normally but then there were no internet in it for the most of the time. So its just the great opportunity to explore old town which is best of all Baltic Capitals by my opinion.
