We haven't stayed at many hotels before where all the staff are so friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed for five nights over Easter and both enjoyed it thoroughly; the room was wonderful, with atmosphere and comfort, if a little warm. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning, the service and quality were faultless.
We ate downstairs in the Kuldse Notsu Korts restaurant (where breakfast was served) on two evenings and at both meals the food was perfect and good value too.
The hotel is located in just about the best spot for a long weekend of relaxing and exploring the city, being a matter of yards from the Town Hall Square and Toompeea. The medieval city is very compact but there's a lot to see there, with narrow winding cobbled streets, lanes and courtyards. We also ate at Vanaema Juures, Olde Hansa Waggehus, Peppersack and had the gorgeous Elk soup and hot wine at the Three Dragons. All very good and no complaints.
All in all it was one of the most enjoyable Eastern European trips we've had.
