Great open air venue - well managed in terms of entrances etc. Downside is the walk back - 60,000 people could not get on a tram!

This unusual stadium was built we were told for the Estonian 'Singing Revolution' where people joined together to celebrate being Estonian every 5 years. The story is a moving one when you understand the history of the occupation.

it is now a stadium which is used for all sorts of concerts. Previous reviewer have mentioned Robbie Williams which was just before we visited . I imagine it would quite an experience and quite different from other venues.

Worth a visit even if you can't go to a concert there!

Went to the Robbie Williams concert in August 2013 and had a blast. Great venue and the beer was good and cheap. Only problem is the toilets with they charge to use and you have to queue for ages. I thought I would see a cow or pig come out of the cubicles they were so disgusting and filthy. If you attend a concert here, don't drink and hold on.

The story of the Song Festival Grounds and national pride are priceless! Enjoy the grounds, see the statue of the founder of the Song Festival Grounds, and imagine, if you can the choir shell filled to capacity!

This is where recent history was made, where almost half the Estonian people came together to stand up to the Soviets in "The Singing Revolution." It feels like standing on sacred ground to walk around the grounds, knowing what happened here.
