This is a great place for relaxing in the summer and with the bonus of visiting Kumu Art Museum, the Kadriorg Palace and Peter the Great's cottage. But be warned they are all closed on Monday and some even on Tuesday during low season. You can walk out to the sea from the park.

Even in the winter this place is very beautiful! A coffee at the Cafe Park in front of the lake is a good idea if the weather is nice...

Nice quiet park 20 minutes walk from the centre. Try the cafeteria right at the beginning of the park. A nice way to spend a few hours, walking around and having a cup of tea and some cake

Easy walk from the old town. Disappointed that the palace / art museum is closed from July 2012 to January 2013.

We walked from Freedom Square to the park in the snow only to find the palace was shut for restoration. I am sure it is really beautiful. As it was snowy we couldn't really enjoy the park itself in terms of appreciating the flora and forma but it was very tranquil.
