Description: Believe it or not, but it’s good to be in „Pórgu“. An unbelievably large selection of draught beers and their bottled cousins, unearthly delicious à la carte dishes and an almost holy atmosphere. All this makes „Pórgu“ seem like a paradise on earth, where you can feel free and let yourself be carried away by tasting pleasure. *pórgu in english - hell

Though we had no reservation they found table for us. We did not order any dishes but just some snacks. These were excellent. Very friendly staff. We did get round of free beers as the snacks were late. And all these good no mainstream beers. Just loved it. The best was their own brew called Esimene Sorts. Certainly will go back there.

We stopped by on our own pub crawl. Wanted a small bite to eat and didn't fancy any small plates or starters. We asked to share the mustard and honey baked chicken fillet. They separated it onto two plates for us- so nice. It was a a bit of a wait for the food however, well worth it. Extremely good food and service. Good atmosphere and great value for money. Would def go back and recommend for others.

This was a very cool bar that myself and my girlfriend went to in Tallinn. This place is also a restaurant but we were in late on and we were just looking to have a few beers.

What makes this place special is the number of beers available either on tap or by bottle. They have a locally brewed beer here called Pihtla, a farmer ale is how it is described, this is really a beer that you'll either love or hate, seemed to me like a combination of bitter and a wheat beer combined. I wasn't a fan myself but was interesting to have something local that was different to the norm.

We really liked the chilled out atmosphere in the place as well as the fact that it was in the basement of a place with possibly the steepest steps into a bar that I've ever gone down. Certainly worth a visit if you're a beer lover looking to try a mixture of local brews as well as imports.

Nice place in the cellar for some beers and snacks. Serve some beers you can't find from other places, home made, small brews. Wasn't too crowded on Thursday night and indeed good place to pop in before going to have some proper meal or night out.

Went here for a late snack after a hectic work week. A very good choice when you want something no-fuss, but still delicious. The place itself is in an old cellar, down old and steep stairs, with low hanging vaults as cealing. Because of the stairs, the place can be difficult for disabled to visit. Reminds a lot of the old restaurants in Prague. Most of the furniture is made of handcrafted iron, making the interior very spartan. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place seemed popular.
The menu had a lot of interesting choices and the variety of beers is sufficient even for more dedicated beer-lovers. As it was very late and the kitchen was about to close, we decided to go with just main courses. I had the marmored veal and my wife the duck breast. Both proved to be well prepared and really delicious. Accompanied with a spanish Tempranillo red wine finished the dinner. We left the place smiling of satisfaction...
Will for sure return to explore the menu further..
