The steps up to the cafe are to say the least treacherous european health and safety I think not (why is it only GB that takes any notice) Each leg of the way up is a Krypton factor assault course,on reaching the summit the young lady who serves up the hot wine and ale is pleasant but cannot add up so beware !!. A good view though from here. The downside then is getting down again.

Cool! Very steep stairs, with a cafe that serves drinks. Expensive beer, 6 €! And 2€ to go up! But the feeling of medieval times, when you're sitting there on the narrow passage time was worth it. Nothing else to see. Try it:-)

This place is located on the city-wall, built 800 years ago, so it's worth visiting even if you don't want to go to the café and drink something/have a bite to eat. The view was great, because the wall is 16 meters high. But i really recommend tou to visit the café as well. The service was lovely. And the cakes - delicious, really worth the cost. There is very big choice of drinks. I really have to bring out that they have like 20 different coffees there - wow! U should really visit this place! Unique experience is guaranteed.

We paid €2 to walk up on the wall which covers less than 50 yeards / 20 meters in both directions. It was cold and windy, so my wife wanted to go into the Tower Cafe located at the top. We ordered a hot chocolate, slice of pie, small bag of pecans, and a glass of warm wine and the total bill came to over €18!! Several people ordered and then expressed anger at the price they were told to pay. None of the prices are listed anywhere, so folks tend to order without asking, just assuming it can't be too expensive. We generally never make that mistake, but it caught us this time. It was especially egregious considering we already paid €4 just to get up there!!!
