This hotel had a modernly renovated interior to contrast the historical outer shell of the building. The room was very clean and comfortable and I received an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi without even asking! Nice complimentary breakfast as well.

I stayed with my girlfriend in a zen room with a jacuzzi and everything worked well. The room was excellent, bed was nice, the jacuzzi worked and the breakfast was what was expected. This is a really nice hotel! Highly recommended!

This smallish hotel has old world charm, with lovely, spaceous, comfortable rooms, ensuit and staff. Located just minutes across the road from the old town. The sumptuous breakfast keeps you going most of the day. The bed was very comfortable. Julia, the hotel manager, was delightful, efficient and nothing was a problem for her. We also had a computer in our room. We could open the windows and let fresh air in and cool the room down naturally, in most modern hotels this is not possible. Our room faced the courtyard, fortunately as roadworks were happening during the night hours, while we were there. The rooms facing the road may be noisy. So get a courtyard room

Room Tip: A room facing the couryard is quieter

I stayed here for two nights. You could almost miss the hotel as it is quite low key on the outside. The hotel is tastefully decorated. Inside there is lots of visible stone and brick work which I find pretty. The Hotel is small (3 floors) and quite homely. I was given a large room fitted with Jacuzzi. No iron or iPod base station. Breakfast is served downstairs in the basement and there is all the normal selection. Staff were friendly. Only down side is that there is not much in the way of shops or restaurants in the immediate vacinity so you have to walk through a park over to the old town (10min)...at night this is a bit off puttting, especially if you are a woman, The hotel has a spa which I did not try out.

Room Tip: Make sure to avoid the rooms on the street side as there is traffic noise

what a great hotel. we had booked for a ZEN room via booking.com but when we got to the hotel they didnt have that information and so upgraded us to some of the suites situated accross the courtyard.... beautiful!

BE CAREFULL OF PICK POCKETS!! - I had my phone stolen in Tallin, when i told the hotel they were very helpful and showed me were the police station was etc,,, couldnt fault them.

breakfast was lovely, we stayed for 4 nights but didnt get to go to the spa as there is so much to see and do in Tallin.

I cant fault this hotel or Tallin its great. loads to do and the little bars and restaurants underground are fab!

We have just spent 5 days there and other than an uncomfortable 1st night due to the triple zen room not being big enough for 3 adults, we cannot fault our stay. on morning of 2nd day we spoke to Julia the reception manager and she immediately upgraded us to a massive zen superior room which had a sofa bed as opposed to chair bed. Staff were extremely courteous, polite and helpful at all times booking tours, restaurants and cabs, no request was ignored or too difficult to sort out. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The walk into the old square is approx 8 mins and only slightly uphill, all in all a very pleasant stroll.
Would highly recommend this hotel and Tallinn for a city break.

Room Tip: please be aware that when booking a triple room they are only big enough for two adults and one chi...

We reserved the Zen doubleroom. Our room was located at the third floor, ask for a room facing the backyard. The street outside is quite busy all through the night! The room was nice and the bathtub was lovely! Its really Nothing that's bad with the hotel, it's only little things that makes it average. OK bed, not great. OK breakfast, OK location. It's about 7-10 min walk from the oldtown.
