As others have said, this is quite an old fashioned place, in décor and uniforms and in attitude to customers (i.e. for good service and good food). Inside is quite French (unsurprisingly), but there's also a pleasant, if a bit cramped, outside terrace if the weather is good. It's away from the overpriced centre of the old town, though not very far, and only a few steps from some of the tourist areas, though perhaps far enough to make prices much more reasonable. It's a good place to people watch too.
We had a very pleasant lunch (from the fairly limited menu) of quiche and salad, cakes, 2 good glasses of wine and coffee for about 30 Euros. I'm not a fan of quiche but both of these were very good and the cakes were excellent.
