This trip truly was one of a kind. My fiancee and I had never really experienced bogs before and getting to walk across one was certainly unique. Our guide, Edu, was a very kind gentleman and showed us multiple berries we could eat and plants with beautiful scents. While expensive, you do really get your money's worth. Aivar, the coordinator, was great with information prior to and on the way to the tour.

Be advised. Probably not for you if you do not like: bugs, a lot of walking, a good amount of canoeing, a minimalist lunch (Edus wife made the most delicious cake).

We loved it!

Thank Tommy M

It promised to be a beautiful evening, the sky was clear, the wind was laying down, the air was fresh. And off we went in our canoes to look out for beavers. It turned out to be better than we could imagine, despite the hundreds of mosquitos that thought of us as a pleasant meal. Aivar knew the habitat of the different families well and showed us around. The material was well taken care off and we felt safe (apart from the small intrusive little suckers ). Even if no beavers can be spotted the view of the park in the late evening from a canoe is fascinating. Enjoy!

A very pleasant experience. We received all the necessary advice about canooing and Kaspar was very friendly! I definitely recommend it.

Was an excellent canoe trip, especially that you can do it in your own speed and scedule. Good service and nice guides!

My partner and I booked to go on the evening guided canoe trip through the waterways in Soomaa, to hopefully spot a few elusive beavers in their natural habitat. We were not disappointed! As the evening progressed and the sun went down, a mist started rising from the water and it made for a truly ethereal experience. The night was perfectly still and there was plenty of moonlight as it became darker (although this time of year it's more or less perpetual twilight once the sun goes down). It was great conditions to watch the beavers, and we managed to spot several. One even swam alongside the canoe and we could see it progress underwater via a string of bubbles.

The trip lasted for several hours - met at around 9pm, and wrapped up at 12.30am.

Only problem we had was many, many mosquitoes! If I went again I would be sure to bring some repellent with me.

Definitely recommend.
