Before travelling to Vilnius I checked to see what Tripadvisor's travellers had to say and since this hotel was highly recommended we choose it and were not dissapointed: the hotel is situated across the National Philharminic, behind the town hall and the old city. Everything is within walking distance and perhaps the only downside is that there are few coffee houses next to the hotel but that is really a minor issue. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored old building that carries an old world elegance in every part from the lobby to the rooms and the open courtyard. At night it is romantic pinkish under the lights. Service is very good and everything seems intimate and personal -starting from the check in when we were told that since they already had our credit card no there was no need to show it again. Both the check in and the check out took seconds.
The room was not big but there was still room for a big double bed, small table with an arm chair and writing table with a chair. It was very elegant and comfortable starting with the cable that enabled us to connect the computer, coffee maker and loads of little things in the bathroom. The only thing I would have added would be a vanity mirror. There was an ironing board, slippers, bathrobe, safe, minibar and what not. There was even an umbrella to be used during our stay (we didn't need it). The maid left us chocolate and a little note with a weather report every day.
No matter how hard I try I cannot think of anything bad to say about the hotel. Would love to stay there again.

Everything about this hotel is ok....but it is definitely not a 5 star hotel. It is ironic that it prides itself on giving guests a "good night's sleep" since I have not had a good night's sleep since I arrived here a week ago. My room overlooks a square where there are people chanting and shouting every night until about 3am. Then in the morning the renovation of the hotel begins with drilling at 9am. So there is about a 6 hour window for sleeping.
The breakfast is alright, but not great. The rooms, again, are alright but not great. The 'fitness centre' is one running machine and two other machines that don't work...
The staff are lovely and really helpful though.

Plusses
Paid around 100 Euro a night for this hotel. Excellent Value
Perfect Room, very comfortable
Incredible Location
Very friendly and professional staff

Minuses:
Car Park in another hotel a 5 minute walk away (but valet service and secure)

Cant fault this place. I would definately advise you to stay here if you get the opportunity. The Revel where I usually stay has great rooms but does not close in terms of atmosphere and charm

Everything has been said about this Ramada Hotel. It is a nice hotel, good and quiet rooms. Location is perfect in the old city.
Breakfast is ok.
Service of the staff at the reception seems somewhat overdone.
The hotel provides taxi transportation to/from the airport, which is not really necessary because taxis are in front of the hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for about 3 nights in July 2009. The location is fantastic. near the gates of dawn and beside a couple of spectacular churches. There are also a couple of nice restaurants close by. It is way slightly from the main drag - which probably means its a little quieter - but not far, everything in the old town in Vilnius being very much walkable.

The staff were good, and spoke english very well. They all looked very young but perfectly competent - perhaps all the grown-ups were off for summer! We had made arrangements beforehand for the hotel to organise a private tour out of town, and this was very successful. The hotel's service was excellent in this regard.

The room was very large, and very comfortable. Old fashioned frou-frou design. (I think we had a canopy over the bed!).

Breakfast was fine, not wonderful but certainly adequate. There was a choice of german style and hot food, and well as fruit.

On the whole: very good.
