I spent 2 nights at this hotel in August 2016. I selected this hotel instead of any other hotel mainly for it history and location. Hereafter my review:

Advantages:
----------------
- Very quick check-in/Check-out.
- Very professional receptionists. The young lady at the reception was really cute and helpful
- Very polite and friendly staff. This is generally the case in Lithuania :-)
- Great location. Inside the old city and very close to the Gates of Dawn. Easy to reach (~10 minutes walking) from Vilnius main train/bus station "Stotis". From the airport it takes 10-15 minutes by taxi and it cost ~6 Euro.
- Comfortable bed
- Cleanness
- Very good WIFI connection. Free access without any code
- Good ratio price/quality
- Tea pot
- Very quiet hotel. The church bells nearby chiming at 07:00 AM might be annoying for some people.

Areas of improvements:
------------------------------
- Average breakfast
- No complimentary water. I would say this is normal for a 3 stars hotel. You can buy water at the reception. A 330ml bottle of still water costs 1,70 Euro
- Low cost bath amenities
- No air conditioned. Might be an issue for some people especially during summer
- No safe

Converted and modernised convent located adjacent to the Gates of Dawn in the Old City of Vilnius. Carefully hidden behind a gated entrance, friendly Reception, spacious rooms, modern washroom/shower area, excellent breakfast buffet selections, plenty of restaurants & nightlife in immediate vicinity. Slight drawback is the church next door which has a bell that begins ringing the hour at 7am.

Room tip: Choose a room that faces into the courtyard.

One of the best things about this hotel is it's location - just inside the city gates, set back from the road and a few minutes away from the bars/restaurants. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the bathroom also very good. What I liked best about the rooms was the absolute quietness

Room tip: The location is excellent - smack in the city centre, with plenty of restaurants and cafés in the neighbourhood.

Wow I do not have to say anything else, i really loved this place. nice staff, nice room (we had a really spacious room on the top floor). Only thing that might be annoying for some people are the renovations they are doing on weekdays (but not on weekend)

Just inside the city walls and just 10 mins walk from the train station Domus Maria is perfectly placed to explore Vilnius. The staff were friendly and the rooms were pleasant. The breakfast was a little interesting but had something for everyone.
