Very good location. Room clean and quiet. Last time we had a "Lux" room that was a bit bigger
and overall better quality--did not ask for it this time. Right next door to "Ausros Vartai" (Gates of
Dawn) and right down the street are many souvenir shops (a lot of amber) and restaurants. The
Vilnius cathedral is about a mile down on this street. The "Kings' Residence" is right next to the
cathedral. If you want to be right inside the "Old Town" section of Vilnius, at a really reasonable
price, this is the place. The staff is VERY polite and helpful and speak English very well. Breakfast is included in the price and is in a nice relaxed atmosphere and has a nice choice of items, not only a little cereal and a piece of toast. Good coffee, tea, fresh juices, cheeses, lunch meats, warm cereal, fresh fruits and veggies, sausages, eggs, hash browns, etc., etc.
Your appetite will be satisfied very nicely. Our room faced the courtyard and looking out of the window we could see the Gates of Dawn, about 20 meters away. Very quiet and comfortable beds for a very good night sleep. Asked for wake up calls every day and the never failed. All in all, it was a very good stay here. Oh yes, they do have an elevator here. Very handy.

Room Tip: If you want a really good room ask for a "Lux" room (mostly on third floor). Courtyard room will have less of a view but will be quieter, however this is not a noisy area of the city and any room should be pretty quiet.

it seems that this hotel uses rooms, corridors and halls which belonged to a monastery once. Thus the atmosphere is different to all those standard business hotels. we enjoyed our stay a lot; the breakfast hall is the previous monks' dining hall: very relaxing atmosphere. The reception staff was extremely helpful and polite. whenever possible, we will be there again.

Domus Maria was very comfortable and meet all the needs of our family of four. The quad room was very spacious. The location was great....easy to walk around Vilnius without needing a car or even a taxi. The breakfast was substantial and varied. It was quiet and peaceful.

Room Tip: The quad rooms are great for families with kids.

This old hotel in a former monastery has a lovely feel to it, very atmospheric although somewhat basic in accommodation. The room was fairly simple with smallish single beds overlooking the courtyard, therefore very peaceful. Staff were very friendly and parking was easy right outside. The hotel is superbly placed for all the sites of Vilnius and well situated for some very nice eating places. Recommended as long as you aren't looking for a touch of luxury!
