Vilnius Old Town is not unlike a lot of old towns in Eastern Europe, but at least it does a good job of blending the old with the cosmopolitan. Some old towns get swallowed alive by the influences of upscale clothing chains, but not vilnius. While those places do exist, there is still a grittiness about Vinius which makes it worth visiting. There is great beer and hearty Lithuanian dishes at places like Snekutis and bambalyne, which should thoroughly be enjoyed. I only stayed 3 full days in Vilnius, which was more than enough time to explore the city, but it left me wanting to see more of Lithuania. Enjoy your visit
